Julianna Foster: Peaks and Valleys
http://juliannafoster.blogspot.com/2015/01/she-said-eye-is-indigo-0-0-0-is-olive.html
I've been thinking alot about this landscape. The peaks and valleys. She said the eye is indigo,. Is olive and ash,. Is a pupil
. She said the eye darts. From one place to another
even if it is lazy sometimes,. And cannot see past the horizon,. And the mote within it. Burns and stings,. Doubtful of hindsight,. 8195;“eye”. 8195; “aye.”. Eudora Welty, Five Poems. All leaves gone, yellow. Light with low sun,. Against far-up pale sky. Nights with their blackness. And myriad stars, colder.

http://jerinpaulson.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
My life is done in watermelon sugar. Monday, November 26, 2012. Work in progress, fall 2012. A few entries back I posted. About some of the Lenore Tawney materials I received, and that I would soon be making an embroidery piece with the small round boxes. Here are a couple of images, captured by the lovely Zoë Bare. This time I'll carry these with me. (after Lenore Tawney). Boxes owned by Tawney, silk thread, linen. After the sun burned her eyes she found her way. A new piece, shown here in progress.

I hope you are reading this. It is intended for you. Or is that too much to ask? Janine antoni , yours truly. Letter to an artwork. The only way a gallery attendee could actually experience the piece was if they checked a coat or bag. While the visitor was off viewing the exhibition, the coat check attendant would slip a letter from Antoni into the attendee’s checked item for later discovery. The piece was called.
