I look for both beauty and self reflection in my glass work. I choose subject matter that has a personally charged significance for me. My inspiration comes from 3 sources: places I’ve been, my interpersonal relationships, and my reaction to global events. I use fusing techniques and attempt to show depth in the glass by applying metal inclusions, fiber paper, and enamels. There's a great sense of space in the photo because the viewer really does feel like they are almost inside of a flower when they look at it.
