Whilst looking through all my old art work today, I found this inspiration board. It is made up of anything I came across that I liked and found inspirational. There are cuttings from magazines and brochures, print-outs from the internet, labels, scraps from notebooks etc. At the time of making this board, it really gave me some great ideas for my own work.

I was recently asked to illustrate a scary story and having never done this type of work before, I decided to look at other creepy/scary illustrations. I have found that a scary effect can be achieved in a variety of different ways and just thought I'd share with you some of the examples I found. Blogging about illustration and all things arty. Tuesday, 20 July 2010. Said the sticker on the box and "yay! Said me when I realised my postcards had arrived. Last week, I ordered some new postcards from Moo. And took advantage of their two day sale. I ordered 60 postcards and used 6 different illustrations. The print quality is excellent as always! I will be using these to send out to potential clients and publishing companies to promote my illustrations. *fingers crossed* they'll do the job.

This is a website relating to 'Mr Custa', a radio show written by Philip Whitmore and played on WCR FM. Last year, Philip decided that he would like to turn 'Mr Custa' into a comic strip and I was the illustrator he contacted. Thursday, June 16, 2011. Well Happy EXTREMELY LATE Easter! I decided that I wanted to make rainbow ice cream cone cupcakes. I was not thinking when I got the ice cream cones and got like the smallest size. So rainbow turned into solid color cones, which turned out to be the perfect size cupcake!
