Saturday, November 28, 2009. Día de Acción de Gracias. Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving in my house, with all of my closest friends, and their friends, and our whole Peruvian family. It was truly the best Thanksgiving of my life. Let me tell you. I woke up early the next day to start the turkey with Nancy. Turkeys at home come with the neck and organs tucked inside, but turkeys here have an extra surprise: the feet and the head! For the golden corn and the apples on the trees. Blessings on our meal.
