Too Much and Not Enough. Thursday, September 25, 2008. New Mexico: A Visual and Spiritual Journey. Fabulous photo workshop with Todd Williams. Mountains, deserts, horseraces, old towns. Todd brought along 3 of his photographer friends to assist, so we were drenched with learning every minute. Exhausting and exhilarating. When I was processing the photos a little story appeared. Take a look. At this documentary fumetti (comics with photos instead of drawings). I'm really quite pleased with it. Julia's Journal | A Journal of Julia’s Surgery at UNC Childrens Hospital

Surgery over and I am glad (August 19, 2009). Letting everyone know that I am feeling better today. The surgery is behind me and it went well. I have a cast on my left leg for at least 4 weeks. I don’t remember anything except right before I went into the operating room. Dr. Campion is the best surgeon! On October 7th 2011 she was diagnosed with Niemann Pick Disease, Type C, or NPC at the age of 11. NPC is an extremely rare. About 500 diagnosed cases worldwide), neurodegenerative disease with no cure and very limited and costly treatment options. NPC is very unpredictable, but it is always.
