Sunday, November 13, 2011. Trip to the Mountains. We made a day trip up to Blowing Rock in the NC Mountains. It was beautiful! James and I couldn't believe that we have been here for almost 7 years and never made the drive. We were just lazy, I guess. But made it even better to see it with our kids, and Story dog! Lily enjoyed it and Charlie slept through it. It was a great day! Family pic. Sorry Charlie, we didn't get your face. =(. Lily and James checking out the view! Cool girls with shades!

Saturday, October 31, 2009. What a difference a year makes. Lily made the cutest little duck! She did fairly well with the costume as a whole, but she wasn't a real big fan of the headpiece. I didn't even think of this, but when some neighbors saw her, they asked if she was a little Big Bird, and I think the costume does resemble him! So maybe Big Bird is really a big duck? Anyway, she helped hand out candy and actually put it in some of the trick-0r-treater's bags. Such a big girl! Here's to many more!

Sunday, May 9, 2010. I had my mom take some family pictures for us, since we haven't had any taken.ever! She took over 180 and I actually liked most of them, which is shocking for me! Here's just a few. The Girls and Zac. My cousin Kylie and her friend Lauren came down to the beach for their spring break. Lily loved "the girls" as she called them! They were awesome with her and she will still ask about the girls! Not only did Lily love "the girls", she had a crush on Zac! This child loved the beach!

Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Our friends Sara and Jason invited us to go to the Panthers game with them on Sunday. The weather was beautiful and the Panthers actually won! It was a great time (thanks guys! And, let the record show that it was Nov. 15th and we were wearing sleeveless shirts! The high chair is a thing of the past. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. 18 Month Check Up. I've put off her check up for 2 weeks and so we finally went this morning. Doctor Parish said everything looks great and that she is healthy! She weighed 25.2 pounds (60th%-tile). Measured 32 inches (60th %-tile). So as soon as Lily and I got home we both took a shower to get all the "funk" off of us. I even sprayed Lysol in the car.
