Thinking for a Change: July 2009
http://juliebehling.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 20, 2009. This Won't Hurt a Bit. Before I discuss what I promised last time, that is Dr. Paul Cheney’s paradigm of chronic fatigue syndrome, I wanted to first elaborate on one additional factor that I suspect might have contributed to my eventual 6-year sentence with chronic fatigue syndrome. May 6, 1997. I was preparing for my mission to. And stopped by the immunization clinic on Kirtland Air Force Base in. To get my required vaccines. MMR ingredients) measles, mumps, rubella live virus, th...

Thursday, October 29, 2009. An Economy in Need of Holistic Medicine. New York Times Article, October 23, 2009, By Anand Giridharadas. CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS — The American economy is having what doctors call an acute episode. Employment won’t throb. The circulation of capital remains weak. Industry is breathing, but barely. And if we can agree on anything one year into this mess, it is that there is little we can do when the patient arrives already this bad. Which is where acupuncture comes in. Western...

Monday, May 18, 2009. To believe or not to believe . . . When I started this blog, I intended to create a resource for those suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia – I wanted to share what had worked for me in being able to heal from these enigmatic illnesses that have silently sapped the life and strength of millions! I am beginning to see that this blog is practically a living, breathing entity with a life of its own, and it will take me whatever direction it desires. Within the cultu...

Friday, March 26, 2010. Signpost 1 - Restrictions on Taking Money out of the U.S. and on Foreign Bank Accounts. Last week I introduced the topic for my next several blog posts - 14 Signposts to Slavery. Or signs that any given society might be slipping towards tyranny. Where does the United States stand with these 14 issues? Restrictions on taking money out of the country and on the establishment or retention of a foreign bank account by an American citizen. Part A of Signpost 1. Part B of Signpost 1.

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. The State of the Union According to Me. So today was the big day - the 2011 State of the Union address we've all been waiting for. I thought President Obama's speech had some good moments. I agree with some of his proposals, such as bagging "No Child Left Behind" and cutting some of the red tape for small businesses. I question others - should we really be spending money on a high-speed rail and super high-speed internet for the masses? The good news -. The recession isn't over...

Monday, March 30, 2009. Later this evening I was reading "The Screwtape Letters" and I read this quote-. He (God) wants them to walk and must therefore take away His hand, and if only the will to walk is really there He is pleased even with their stumbles.". Friday, March 13, 2009. Happy 81st Birthday Grandma! Many Memories of You. Your Favorite Color, Baby Blue. The sound of your slippers sliding on my parents floor. Your happy love for chocolate. Our Doris Day Marathons. Saturday, January 10, 2009. My Natti is a butterfly. 160;Everyone is drawn to her, wanting to know her name and thrilled by her beauty. 160;Her long sweet fingers tenderly care for her many stuffed animals. As I watch her I feel she could heal the deepest pain with her tenderness. 160;As soon as you catch her attention she is off again, exploring her world, sure to come back again but not for long. 160;Every thing she sees she falls in love with and wants to stop and touch it. You and Me: FREE TO DREAM
http://youandmegallery.blogspot.com/2011/01/free-to-dream.html
Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Today I had one of those experiences that you look forward to forgetting sometime down the road, but you know deep down you never will. Well, two weeks ago I got a call back for an audition I had submitted to play a part in. It wasn't something I was ecstatic about, but it sounded intriguing, so I signed up for an audition time. It couldn't be that. I walked out of the building thrilled as can be that I was finally out of that horrible room. I drank the fresh air in like ...

Wednesday, April 8, 2009. ALLERGIES. The word that my world is revolving around. Every morning when I wake up I have a headache, and it's throughout my whole head- even face and neck. There is this specific sharp pain I get on the left side of my brain, and it's awful! I take a deep breath and it burns all the way down through my itchy throat and congested nose. Then I open my eyes and they burn so bad it feels like a handful of sand has been thrown in them, so I rub them and it feels SO GOOD! Researchin...

Saturday, April 24, 2010. POLITICS AND HASH BROWNS. THE LADY WITH THE HASH BROWN. This story is an example of the random train of thoughts that a boring job can take you down). Today in the lunch line a teacher came through and she said, “I got the salad, but I really want a hash brown too. I don't have to pay for that do I? It's just a little hash brown.” Her face scrunched up in a pout and she suddenly looked injured. 8220;It’s so cold out side…I just want one little hash brown.”. How interesting. W.

Tuesday, October 13, 2009. We went to the PUMPKIN PATCH to pick out our favorite pumpkins. We went shopping for all the goodies to make HAUNTED MANSIONS. Trick or treat mix (witches, skeletons, pumpkins). 2 cups powdered sugar. 1 cup melted butter. 1 tsp cream of tartar. Split mixture in half and put in separate bowls. Add and mix black food coloring to one half and orange to the other. And then we watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
