Blessing For Life: September 2013
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Reality = Unplanned Frustrations. I was just finishing up a wonderful blog post about all the great things that have happened the past six months that Nate and I have been married. And then my computer shut down on me. We currently need to turn our basement lights on when we want to use the internet. We still do not have a stove, and we blow a fuse when we use the toaster oven and microwave at the same time. We still do not have vent covers for our duct work and have realized...

Blessing For Life: Hospitalization
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2010/11/hospitalization.html
Tuesday, November 16, 2010. I ended up calling my mom that morning, screaming. And crying, not sure what was going on. She told me she was hanging up to call my aunt who lives right down the road. Pretty soon, my aunt was at my dorm and took me to her house. I was hesitant. To get into her car - I felt like I was an elderly. Next thing I knew, there was a police officer in the room with us, asking me all sorts of questions - that was intimidating! Worker, and he st rapped. On Friday, I had some visitors,...

Blessing For Life: A Few Things I've Learned About Nate
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2013/10/nate-and-i-recently-spent-week-of.html
Wednesday, October 16, 2013. A Few Things I've Learned About Nate. Nate and I recently spent a week of vacation together! We traveled to visit family and friends, and then enjoyed time together in Lake George - fall is a beautiful time of year in the Adirondacks! Today marks seven months of being married, and I've already been reminded of our wedding ceremony a couple times this morning! Neat reminders today as we reflect on our marriage. Nate is the Waffle Master. Reflective listening is automatic for N...

Blessing For Life: 1 Month Later
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2013/04/1-month-later.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Nate and I celebrated 1 month of marriage today! Since coming back from Colorado, we have somewhat settled into a routine and are slowly working through all the phone calls, decisions, and paperwork involved in changing a name and moving to a new house. Here are a few updates:. We still do not have a stove, but have been faithfully using the crock pot, waffle maker, and microwave to make creative meals - only one of which we will never make again. We truly have enjoyed this past ...

Blessing For Life: A Story Worth Telling
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-story-worth-telling.html
Saturday, November 16, 2013. A Story Worth Telling. Nate and I went to a wedding reception today, and it was actually 8 months ago today that we got married! With wedding thoughts on my mind, I looked back through some of our wedding pictures tonight, and then ending up reading through several Facebook posts leading up to our wedding day. This day had been in the back of my mind lately, knowing it was this month, but I honestly couldn't remember the exact day. Until today. November 16th. Matthew West's s...

Blessing For Life: 21 Leslie Ave
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2012/08/21-leslie-ave.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. Nate and I are continuing to work at the new house in Conklin. Little by little we keep finding more to do, but we've definitely made some progress! The major cleaning started in the kitchen - see above for before and after! I actually got my turn on the excavator too! Before Nate ripped down the awning, I convinced him to wait a minute so I could save the plants that were in front of it! We've had some friends over helping at the house too! We've definitely been learning a lot a...

Wednesday, March 13, 2013. The Time Has Come! You know it's Wedding Week when. Extended family pulls into town in an RV they drove from Texas. Mom is figuring out where she can stash her tissue supply for the big day. Grandma braves driving hours by herself through bad weather to join in on the family fun. The groom starts losing sleep! You start spelling your own last name wrong even though its been 24 years - time to change it! Photo Credit: www.BrandiScottPhotography.com. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Blessing For Life: December 2012
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 24, 2012. I'll Be Home for Christmas. One of the nice things about ending up back in Binghamton, is that even though many of my friends have moved out of state - their parents still live in Binghamton, so they have a reason to come back every once in a while! Two friends from forever were in town this past week to celebrate Christmas with their families. We were able to get together for lunch to catch up! Amy is now living in Arizona, and Julie is home for a few weeks before her final se...

Blessing For Life: January 2013
http://blessingforlife17.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. After Nate purchased a house in July, we've been working to fix it up to move into once we're married. After getting the apartment rented out at the end of November, we were able to focus our attention on the main part of the house - and it has been exciting to see the transformation! Here's a peek of what we've been up to and what we're looking forward to:. Nate's version of this space is the garage. He has tons of room for all his tools - and his motorcycle! While these spac...
