Thursday, May 21, 2015. I'm not complaining,but it couldn't have come at a worst time. I took off a month from work, 3 weeks to care for my grandkids while their parents were away on holiday oversea, and 1 week to work just on my art. Halfway in I fall and sprain my foot quite badly! Monday, April 2, 2012. I'm loving owls. It started with the family of 3( in front) which I found antiquing for things I could use in the terrariums. I love their big wide eyes. The clay owl vase came next, so retro. I found this tapestry kit at the thrift store. I've never done needle point tapestry but I couldn't resist this. Still working on collage I seem to have caught the collage bug. I am actually working on collage, rust printing, oil and wax, textile rusting and encaustic. Saturday, June 28, 2014. I was eating some beetroot the other day and couldn't resisting using the juices as paint. I painted on rice paper which is marvelous fun with beetroot juice and walnut ink then collaged it on a rust print. I apologize for the poor photo.my camera is on it's last legs, time for a new one. This piece is named after the fox prints in the snow running down the rightside. , He has made a journey, with a goal in mind, .judging from the empty hens house at the bottom of the piece where the tracks make a loop, the fox has been successful!
