Today is the opening day of the International Balloon Fiesta - Albuquerque's biggest FESTIVAL of the year. I'm so jealous. Because it is so moist on Canaan Mt. it provides a perfect environment for Soapwort Gentian. Both of these are lovely - such pretty color and texture!
