I've been designing and developing websites professionally since 2005 and I care about visual simplicity and natural user experiences. Originally from south of France, I grew up in a small town near Marseille. I moved to London in 2006 where I lived for nearly 6 years, and I’m now back to country life in Penarth, South Wales. I graduated from the University of Avignon. I learned to understand and got involved in most aspects of a digital project while keeping the end-user experience as the priority.

February 13th, 2010. Pêche de mes rêves. The idea of mashing up my passions for both Gypsy Jazz. And illustration could have been obvious but only popup in my mind a couple of weeks ago. It didn’t take me long to let myself inspired by Mr Django Reinhardt. For a sketch I started last Sunday. I then realised that Le Quecumbar. Following are some of the key steps I followed, from scribbling to framing:. This is all about.

After you’ve gone – Julien Decaudin
http://blog.juliendecaudin.com/2013/02/18/after-youve-gone
February 18th, 2013. After you’ve gone. It has been almost three years since I’ve done this illustration of Django Reinhardt having a break playing guitar to focus on fishing. And I always wanted to give it a follow up. Being a pure self-ignitiated project, it has been regularly pushed by non-self-ignitiated ones. In other words it took me a while to see it complete, so here is the inspiration board, the original doodles and a little slideshow dedicated to memory:. This is all about.

Recycled monster mate – Julien Decaudin
http://blog.juliendecaudin.com/2012/08/01/recycled-monster-mate
August 1st, 2012. I could easily pretend this is a black bird dressed as a sugary yeti but no, I’m talking of a tea mat that finally found its true nature after a water flood tore its paper layer off. As a result I had no choice but to take part in the Inkygoodness Beermat Character Competition. Later on the day (a very exciting day), Bamboula, my partner in crime, and owner of the late tea mat, spots what happened and without hesitation finishes it by tearing its skin apart. I let it go.

http://blog.juliendecaudin.com/2013/10/22/lappero-night-illustrations
October 22nd, 2013. L’Appero Night illustrations. Here is a mashup of a serie of illustrations I’ve done for L’Appero Night. The “night” version of L’Appero, the Parisian app-éritif delivery service I’ve worked for earlier this year. The concept is a bit different as focused on making your own cocktails with an incredibly sexy box that contains everything to do so. Head over https:/ lappero.com to pimp up your eve. Apples & Saucissons. This is all about.
