Here the natural winemaking process and only very gentle oak-aging allow us to create a wine that is genuinely faithful to its terroir. LET'S KEEP IT SIMPLE. LET'S KEEP IT SIMPLE. It's like your first love with all the excitement you can image. After some time, you lose contact. But one day, like a miracle, you meet up again and. The vineyard is situated in Elandskloof, an isolated valley north of Villiersdorp. This valley is 5km wide and is surrounded by a steep mountain range that rises 1km from the valley floor.

The grapes come exclusively from ELGIN A Cape's coolest viticultural area and has a unique climate and topography, consisting of an upland basin plateau, surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides. This region shows climatic similarities to Walker bay, only slightly warmer by comparison. The Terroir is very stony and mixed with red clay. Jancis Robinson's tasting notes. Very pale. Bright fruit. Pure and pretty young. Very bright. Very successful!
