North Of The Tracks: November 2007
http://gordonhackman.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
North Of The Tracks. Friday, November 30, 2007. Monday, November 26, 2007. Here is a link. Anyway, enough of my jabbering. Check out the article by Moreland. Sunday, November 18, 2007. In Defense of C. S. Lewis. Mr Adams and C. S. Lewis. One can only hope that, in the future, those who disagree with the theologic...

North Of The Tracks. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Neuhaus says it better. Though it has been awhile since I made my last post here, I was inspired to post while reading from the latest issue of First Things. The following quote from Richard John Neuhaus says succinctly in a single sentence what I was trying to say in my last post here. It was too good not to share. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). North Of The Tracks: January 2012
http://gordonhackman.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
North Of The Tracks. Thursday, January 26, 2012. I recall my perplexity upon finishing Solzhenitsyn’s “One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich” for the first time. North Of The Tracks: July 2011
http://gordonhackman.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
North Of The Tracks. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Recently, I have done something insane, at least according to common wisdom. I have resigned my decent paying, secure, stable job with no guarantee of another one. I have done this at a time when the economy is bad and many people cannot find work of any kind. This, of course, is conventional wisdom. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Recent or Current Reads. Beauty Will Save The World by Gregory Wolfe. Awe Zim (Elyse Sullivan).

North Of The Tracks: Where I Am
http://gordonhackman.blogspot.com/2012/01/where-i-am.html
North Of The Tracks. Thursday, January 12, 2012. On top of that, I was working two part time jobs, neither of which I really liked much. As a result of the time and energy consumed by the two jobs, I wasn't really able to participate in the life of the community I came to join either, a nice bit of bitter irony. I was discouraged, angry, exhausted, and overwhelmed. I miss my family. I don't see a way forward. I'm tired of everything feeling like a continual painful uphill struggle towards nothing. I.
