Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Died in April 2011, it left a huge whole in our lives and yet, DH and I were secretly a little happy to be cat free for awhile. DH got to go without his daily Claritin (or he would have been able to if it hadn't been spring! And I had less cleaning to do. I always thought all the fuzz in the kitchen was because we had a main floor laundry. Turned out it had a lot more to do with the main floor cat! She meowed all the time. Diesel meows rarely and only when someone is near by.

Monday, July 21, 2014. I just spent the most amazing week at my first ever NAME (National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts) Convention in St. Louis, MO. I am exhausted, but so glad I participated. The theme was "Rollin' on the River" and the gifts were amazing! I got this little beauty at a lunch seminar all about 3D printing. Although I had been sort of thinking of getting a 3D printer some time (or a laser cutter, they look fun, too! This picture is all the goodies that I got just in my tote bag.
