My Hope of the Nations visits in 2010. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. June 1, 2010. At the beginning of the year, many of the kids were listless, tired and falling asleep in school because they were so weak from not eating, and now they are well-fed, healthy and doing well in school. I wish that I could post some pictures as well, but it takes too much power to do that, so I will do a final blog when I return with some pictures so you can see many of the ministries we have here. My Hope of the Nations visits in 2010. Sunday, September 12, 2010. I can't believe we've already been here over a week. Each day is filled to overflowing. My sewing mamas are busy making dresses, aprons and purses, the jewelry mamas are learning new techniques, and both groups are beginning to see sales happen right here in Tanzania. My Hope of the Nations visits in 2010. Monday, May 24, 2010. SFO - Dubai - 15.5 hours on a plane. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but it is definitely a long flight! Left SFO at 5:00 pm and arrived in Dubai at 7:00 pm the following night, going through several time changes. The airline put me up in a the Hotel Millenium and paid for dinner and breakfast, as well as the transportation to and from. Gotta love that! A traditional goat feast will be part of our activities - mmm! Jim and Julie Hansen.
