Thursday, July 22, 2010. We had the best VBS at Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church. We had an awesome group of children and teenagers. Mrs Joyce Lane and Mrs. Barbara Bailey in the canopy snack area. Teachers taking a break as their kiddos were at another station. Candice Powell and Jenah Grubb preparing crafts. Teachers talking about it all. Kendera explaining a game. So much fun outside. Snack time. yummmmmm. Mrs Brenda Bogard in the prayer room rotation. Class time with 5,6,7 yr. olds. My boys loved it.

Friday, October 23, 2009. Fall Beauty in the Country. God has given us a bounty of beautiful colors. The first pictures are what I see from my front and back porch. I found these beside my pool. Thursday, October 15, 2009. Fall Fun at Ivy Bluff. We had a great fall festival last weekend at my church. The kiddos had a costume contest and a pumpkin decorating contest. Of course, they were all winners! We had a chilli supper with all of the "fixin's", dessert, and drink. We also had a craft auction.

We spend Thanksgivng at Fayettevile, AR with my grandma. It was so fun to see family that I really dont get to see that much. We took the boys to the Square to see the Christmas lights. Monday, November 9, 2009. Rocky Top, You'll Always Be Home Sweet Home To Me! There is absolutely nothing like a football game at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mark and I attended homecoming. We had such a good time! This rock was located at another location on campus and just moved recently. Fraternity row for tailgating.looked like soooo much fun! We all enjoyed this soup. 8 to 10 slices bacon, diced, about 8 ounces. 1/2 cup diced celery. 1 cup diced onion. 1 bunch green onions, about 8 green onions, thinly sliced. 1/3 cup all-purpose flour. 4 cups chicken broth. 4 large baking potatoes, baked, peeled, and diced. 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (we like pepper). 8 ounces sour cream.
