Officially Technological: April 2005

http://juliesnonsense.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 28, 2005. My friend, Aaron (must clarify: I have about 5 friends named Aaron, this particular Aaron is the one that goes to Nebraska), has a knack of getting himself into. "situations". Here's the latest. Last weekend, Aaron walked into a public bathroom that was empty and chose. (well, which stall would any of us choose? My friends, is a true story. I'm still chuckling. Posted by Julie at 10:00 AM. Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Posted by Julie at 11:10 AM. Unobservance. Pass it on. One full...

Officially Technological: The Streets Are Paved With Bacon

http://juliesnonsense.blogspot.com/2009/02/streets-are-paved-with-bacon.html

Thursday, February 05, 2009. The Streets Are Paved With Bacon. Sam and a "hat". It's actually a rubber ball that he chewed until it was half gone. Sammers sleeping in the sun on the back of our Transformations chair. Sam and his fifty pound minion, Maggie. Howling at the sound of sirens (he will still practicing this the other night, so no matter how little energy he had, he could still muster up enough to howl at sirens). Being bossy (let's just say. Sam typically got what Sam wanted). He liked music (s...

http://juliesnonsense.blogspot.com/2009/02/moving-on.html

Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Not really, I just thought that sounded better than "Not Moving On". I'm still really bummed about Sam, but at least I can look at his kennel without bursting into tears, and Brian gave me a book that he made of pictures we had of Sam. That was really sweet. So, I am doing a little better, but still sad about that. OK so in other news, my student teaching is getting totally out of control. I'm so frustrated. Don't know. Compared to what? Don't know. Compared to what? I'm so ...

Not-So-Deep Thoughts by Ash Crash: Oops, I forgot

http://ashleyesslinger.blogspot.com/2006/11/oops-i-forgot.html

Not-So-Deep Thoughts by Ash Crash. Wednesday, November 01, 2006. Oops, I forgot. I stayed in Champaign Sunday and Monday at the Shaker, and was introduced to a not wholly unfamiliar way of college life. Good times were had by all. I would be remiss if I were not to mention the passing of a dear brother and former member of the BTR. Goodbye, and we'll miss you, Kenton. Seriously now, God bless the two of you in your new lives as one in Christ, Amen. I hadn't given up on your blogging ways. Oops, I forgot.

http://ashleyesslinger.blogspot.com/2009/03/nuthin-much.html

Not-So-Deep Thoughts by Ash Crash. Saturday, March 07, 2009. Verse 22 - “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools. This is Wisdom's question to start the passage, and most of the rest describes those that reject her reproof and correction. How often do I find myself as a simple scoffer? Verse 33 - ".but whoever listens to me will dwell secure. And will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”. Proverbs is good stuff for sure.

This is where the title goes. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Couple more new things. I forgot to mention that we got a Wii recently. Both Julie and I are suffering from Wii Arm, a condition similar to Nintendo Thumb, only much more painful. I try to get in a good tennis match and a couple rounds of boxing each morning. We are excited to get the Wii Fit and make our virtual selves the envy of all the Miis everywhere. Saturday, November 8, 2008. I am very gun-ho about getting our debts and house paid off....

This is where the title goes. Thursday, October 11, 2007. First, I want to thank all the many readers who contributed to my survey of what to do on Saturday. Despite the fact that everyone who contributed was a female and everyone leaned more heavily to wasting their Saturday but not doing anything but relaxing (lame) I feel that in reality most people truly feel that Saturday is a great day to do work. Well, My Theory is. All that stuff that I think about when I'm driving around or doing other mundane tasks. Including stuff I love, stuff I hate, weird theories that I have, and arguments about why I'm right about stuff. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. I Am Not a Good Person. It's true. And I don't just say that to get a bunch of people to say, "Oh, come on! Of course you are a good person! I look like I'm a pretty helpful friend. Watch your kid? Pick up milk for you at the store? Including stuff I love, stuff I hate, weird theories that I have, and arguments about why I'm right about stuff. Saturday, January 22, 2011. I get a finite number of dinners with my family, and nobody is telling what that number is, so I want dinner time to matter. If I saved the good dishes back so that I would be able to enjoy them long into the future, who would I enjoy them with? Snow is magica...

Julie's Nicaragua Mission

Friday, April 16, 2010. God is the God of Smallest Details. In short, I believed that God wanted me to go to Nicaragua in comfort and style. Indeed I concluded that. He really is God of incredible details! And of humor and creativity! I had a sea bass dinner and two apple juice instead of a small peanut bag and coke, and I smiled all the way to Managua. These three months in Nicaragua are going to be awesome experience, and I hope to achieve/complete as much work to please God and glorify his name. Wedne...

Julie Snidle - Inner Visions. Monday, June 2, 2014. Enjoying Linda Robertson's Encaustikos Kit and its collaboration with StencilGirl Products. I was recently invited to experiment with Encaustikos' newest encaustic kit put together by Linda Robertson. I am so impressed with this high quality kit! So here is my demo:. Before I prime my panel, I cover the edges with painter's tape. When my piece is finished, I peel off the paint to reveal a nice clean edge. Slowly remove the stencil and voila! Did I menti...
