Draw, Paint and Illustrate. Charlie was with me for 15 years and passed away November 2015. A heavy heart forever. I love to create and have been drawing since my teenage years when my year 11 art teacher sparked my imagination with the idea of telling stories in my art. Today I work as a fine artist but am also exploring illustration art and have dabbled a little in this. I just become drawn to the beauty of nature around me or how the light flickers and dances when I work from still life or outdoors.

Monday, June 22, 2009. Slovenia - Aug 2008. Slovenia is a little picture perfect country. It look like something out of a fairy tale book. Almost surreal looking. Per and I fly to Ljubljana, the capital city, and drove to the coast, to a city call Piran. then north along the Italian border to Kobarid, to see some remants from the WWI. Next stop was Bled, with took us across Triglav national park via Vrisic Pass (1611 m). It took a lot of bends and turns to get to the other side of this park. Hahaha. ...
