Since our scheduled Mennonite World Conference guest never arrived,. I'm offering her welcome gift to our next out-of-State house guest. Will you be the winner? Tuesday, April 28, 2015. This week is full of interpersonal skills development at an SYIS (Sharpen Your Interpersonal Skills) course on the NTM (New Tribes Mission) Canada base. I'm sharing an apartment (with two others) in this building. Plenty of northern scenery. Main building on campus. Each table is fully equipped for quality learning :). Lots of small group and all-group sharing. The color dots are drawings by each participant, showing "where I am" right now-. Like those "You are HERE" dots on maps.

Friday, August 14, 2015. P is for pleasure. I recently stopped at a farm market and bought some bruised peaches. I had a lovely time baking a peach pie. The crazy thing is. I live with three people who don't really care for pie. I really have a difficult time writing that fact. It's almost impossible to believe. Friday, July 10, 2015. One of the best things we did on our honeymoon was visit the Great Smokey Mountains. It was the first time both of us remembered seeing real mountains. We took a ride up a lift and got "stuck" because of a storm. But it made for some super cool pictures. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Just a couple days after we signed on our house, I found this set of cupboards at the Hatitat re-store. They have oak fronts and there are plenty for my kitchen. Thursday, January 29, 2015. We got the house keys and got started. Today I did some mold treatment. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. This little quilt has been in progress for months. This past week I finally finished it. I can't wait to show it to the ladies at quilting. They taught me how to really put a binding on a quilt. This was my first time to make my own binding-on-a-bias-tape and use it to finish a quilt. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I'm sure I will do it again. Saturday, January 24, 2015.
