Apparently, there is a 500 baht fee per night for every day over the visa… making it so Ash owed 1500 TBH (about $50). What Doesn’t Kill You… →. July 25, 2009 · 10:41 am. Ashley and I have been in Koh Tao now for five days. We started our SCUBA certification process 4 days ago and are now certified to dive 30 meters/ 100 feet deep. Ready to head out on our second dive of the day! While it’s a VERY expensive sport, especially in the States, I think Ashley and I have found a new hobby. After our deep dive on our final day of SCUBA, Ashley and I took a night boat to Krabi, on the Western side of Thailand.
