Moore Happenings: Ocean Fishing
http://moreandmoremoores.blogspot.com/2009/09/ocean-fishing.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. In August, we took our family ocean fishing in British Columbia. We had an amazing time together, and hope to do it again soon. We charted a boat with Bill Stanley (Brett's scout master when he was growing up). He was great to work with, and made the trip really fun. We got on the boat in Port Edward. Moore Happenings: Swine Showmanship 101
http://moreandmoremoores.blogspot.com/2009/06/swine-showmanship-101.html
Monday, June 15, 2009. We just had our big livestock show last week. It's always a crazy week, but this year I actually enjoyed it without any stress. My kids are at great ages. They actually did all the work themselves this year, without any help from me.even ironing their show clothes! I chose to show Jayden's pig, Frederic, because he was the best behaved pig of the four. Much to our suprise, I did a pretty good job (and Frederic was very well behaved), and I was called back for the final round! Way t...

Moore Happenings: Ocean fishing, Day 2
http://moreandmoremoores.blogspot.com/2009/09/ocean-fishing-day-2.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. Ocean fishing, Day 2. On day 2, we fished for salmon in the early morning. We then went further out to start jigging for other types of fish. We had a great time, and caught an amazing amount of different kinds of fish: halibut, ling cod, rock fish, snapper, and sole. Brenlon had the biggest catch of the day: a 46 pound halibut! It was so fun to watch the kids reel in those fish! We slept hard, and couldn't wait to see what day 3 brought! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Moore Happenings: September 2009
http://moreandmoremoores.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. Ocean Fishing- Day 3. We woke up to a beautiful morning! It was calm enough that we were able to go out into the open ocean waters. I was amazed at how beautiful and calm it was! It felt like we were on a lake! We again started jigging for fish, sometimes we anchored and sometimes we drifted. It was fun to jig and feel the differences in the ocean bottom. Sometimes it was really rocky and we got our lines hooked on rocks if we didn't jig fast enough. Ocean fishing, Day 2.

Moore Happenings: April 2009
http://moreandmoremoores.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Treyton and Brenlon are playing High School Baseball this year. Cove doesn't have enough kids to have their own team, so they have a co-op with Union High School (a town 10 miles away, and 3 times as big as Cove- which isn't saying much). There are 4 boys from Cove playing this year.double the amount that played last year! They are both starting players on the JV team, and occasionally get to play with the Varsity. This is what that part of the paper read:. Well what to say.

In The "HOOD": January 2010
http://megamountsblog.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 15, 2010. I don't toot my horn very often. There are so many things that I need to work on but every once in awhile I have a little moment that makes me feel like I can conquer the world, well, maybe just the day! If I get on that bike with 50 pounds of weight on me I will surely be falling all over. I could just see the papers flying. So, I resorted to the stroller, something that can tote, is on wheels and is much more familiar to me. Now for the Christmas lights. T and K Mounts.

In The "HOOD": "A Sense of Humor?"
http://megamountsblog.blogspot.com/2010/08/sense-of-humor.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. A Sense of Humor? When we got home from church today I told my children that they were beautiful. I also asked them what makes someone beautiful? I got various answers: kindness, loyalty, a good friend, non-judgemental, etc. I could tell that my 7-year old, Kate, was concentrating on what she was going to say. She took a few seconds and then yelled, "A Sense of Humor? August 30, 2010 at 1:41 PM. Everytime he passes me the sacrament I think, What a great kid. T and K Mounts.

Sunday, February 14, 2010. Valentine's Past and Present. However, I am feeling a wee bit guilty for not even getting a card. I'll have to make something memorable before they get home. Some of my most memorable Valentine Day's:. Grade School - getting a flower from my father (Troy does the same thing with our girls). Junior High - getting flowers at my house from a "secret admirer" (in later years, I figured out it was my older sister that wanted to surprise me). The kids got the biggest kick out of this).

Moore Happenings: Travels, All-Stars, and Medical fun
http://moreandmoremoores.blogspot.com/2009/07/travels-all-stars-and-medical-fun.html
Friday, July 3, 2009. Travels, All-Stars, and Medical fun. I'm experiencing a strange sensation today. Brett left yesterday to head to Missouri to spend the weekend with his grandparents. I'm excited for him to get to spend some time with them, and yet it's a strange feeling to not have him around for the 4th of July holiday. The kids and I will have a great weekend, though, and I'm sure Brett will also. As I sat in the room during Kinni's echo, trying to help her not panic and trying to keep Kikki calm ...

In The "HOOD": November 2009
http://megamountsblog.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2009. It was headless at first, as well as gloveless and bootless but we took pictures anyway. Don't our "pumpkins" look great? Monday, November 16, 2009. I have been lingering around the kitchen, at first I was cleaning up a little and munching a little. Then it turned into a full, blown-out munch fest, ugh! I can't help it. I LOVE left overs and can't seem to put any distance between me and the refrigerator. Cold chicken is awesome! Let's see, what else do I like cold?
