Kirk in Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Birdie Tale - Chestnut-naped Forktail that is. It was a chirpy bird and moved fast. Managed to get some decent shots under the challenging light conditions and this hyper-jumpy bird made it no easier to get a lock on either. Sun came out briefly for me to get this pretty shot.

Belonging to the fungal order Phallales, they are prevailent in tropical regions. They are known for their foul smelling sticky spore masses. What was in my mind.

Quarta-feira, 28 de maio de 2014. As cores desse bicho são incríveis! Iniciando a base da ave. Piaya cayana possui tons maravilhosos de marrons e ocres! A floresta no backgroung. Tenho que trabalhar os diversos tons de verde para dar a impressão de uma mata com diversos planos distintos e não uma massa de verde. Já indiquei a linha entre a mata ao fundo e a neblina de um céu de inverno. Iniciando as árvores do primeiro plano. Base do fundo pronta. Desenho já no papel definitivo. Lá vem a alma-de-gato.

Faço pinceladas mais detalhadas e depois esfumo para deixar o trabalho leve. Essa foto mostra a etapa intermediária do processo. Base da coruja pronta.
