研究学園駅からつくば駅に向かう大通り沿い、しまむらの隣にあります。看板もないし、普通のマンションの１階にひっそりとあるので、そこにあると知らないと通り越してしまいます。中華料理らしくない格調高そうなお店です。でもランチは安い。ランチセットは８５０円から。 坦々麺850円。とってもおいしいけれど、麺の量が少ない。男性は大盛を頼んだ方がいいです。 月初めの常陽リビングに大抵のっていて、常陽リビングを持っていくとデザートサービスです。３月のデザートは、ゴマ団子とマンゴーのわらび餅でした。どちらも美味でした。 営業時間：11:30-14:30(LO.14:00), 17:30-21:30(LO.21:00). メイフェアリー（イタリアン・カフェ）. 洞峰公園そばの二の宮にひっそりとあるレストラン。ちょっと宣伝不足のせいか、いいレストランなのに空いています。穴場的レストランです。駐車場はお店の前の方に4台分のみ。 パスタランチにはスープ、サラダ、デザート、ドリンクがつきます。あまり混んでいないので静かで落ち着けるレストランです。 伊太利庵プライム（イタリアン）→閉店しました.

Faroと書いてファロと読みます。広々した田んぼ沿いにあって、まるで小人の家みたいなかわいらしいレストランです。今回はランチではなくディナーで行ってきました。 場所は東大通りからだとちょっと難しい。土浦学園線の花室交差点で左折して桜支所の方に走ります。道なりにずっと行くとfaroの看板があるのでそこで左折。道なりに行ってまた右折。右側にあります。 まるで小人の家のようなかわいらしい佇まい。なかなか雰囲気はいいです。お料理もすべておいしかったです。でもディナーは高いので、やはりランチがおすすめ。 野菜 香川産ホワイトアスパラガスと生ハム＆チーズ＆サラダ 1380円. 北海道 真ツブ貝のオーブン焼きエスカルゴバターソース 780円/100g 写真は1950円. 煮干しソバ730円、特濃煮干しソバ760円（限定30食）. 並んでいる間見ていると、すごく回転が悪い。どうしてだろうと思ってよく見ると、たいていの人は2杯めを食べる。2杯めの替え玉の注文は現金で支払う。150円。

つくばに昔からあるカフェです。オープン当時何度か行きましたが、本当に久しぶりに行ってみました。東大通りを中心部から南下して並木交差点の次、常陽銀行がある交差点で右折します。しばらく行くと普通の一軒家ですが、アリスの茶屋と看板がありますので分かります。駐車場はその前。結構広いのですが、お昼時はいっぱいになります。今日行ったときは、なんと観光バスが入っていました。結構遠くから来るみたいですね。それだけ人気のようです。 確かにイングリッシュガーデンは狭いけれどきれいだし、室内のインテリアも夢のよう。食器も素敵だし、女性にはあこがれのカフェかも。 で、オードブル、とってもきれいだったのに、写真を撮るの忘れました。なすにチーズがのっていてオーブンで焼いたものとサラダ、ゼリーの上にカニがほんの少しのっているものが、一皿に盛りつけてありました。 これは4人分ですが、小さなサンドイッチとスコーン、シフォンケーキです。スコーンはほかほかでおいしかったです。 営業時間：11:00-Sunset, ランチタイムは11:30-15:00. 営業時間：11:30-14:30, 17:30-21:30. タイ料理もありますが...

つくば市の数少ない老舗レストランです。昔からのファンも多い本格的なフレンチのお店です。材料をケチらずたっぷり存分に使ったデミグラスソースは定評があります。デザートも大きくてこれだけでも満足してしまいます。ディナーだと結構高いのでランチがおすすめ。 ランチメニューです。スープ、サラダをつけると高くなってしまいますが、選べるのがいいですね。 栗のタルト。栗をふんだんに使っています。これも大きかった。 営業時間：11:30-14:00, 17:30-21:00.
