I made a goose! Goose (maquette for a larger sculpture), modelling clay and acrylic paint, 2013. 90mm (w) x 90mm (h) x 50mm (d) (approximate). At school (RMIT) we’ve just started sculpture, and our first project is to make an animal. I’ve never done sculpture before so this is completely new to me. Collage – Still life with fruit. I was inspired by an exercise we did in class at RMIT one day. In class, we were drawing still lifes and adding additional media such as paper, tissue paper and so on. I had such fun, I was inspired to create this still life at home. In this work I used a pack of coloured glossy paper. For the background I cut strips using the paper-cutter. For the foreground I used a hole-punch to produce ‘confetti’, and I used glue to fix them down. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
