Lemon Curd: emmas_cuisine
http://emmas-cuisine.livejournal.com/5492.html
Very, very tasty for scones! MacNab's Famous Lemon Curd. 1 1/2 C. sugar or sugar substitute. Juice and zest of 4 lemons, divided. America's Best Tea Room Recipes. I made it without the lemon zest as I was using some frozen lemon cubes my folks had given me from when they had squeezed and frozen lemon juice from a bumper crop of lemons a couple of years ago. It was still very tasty. I don't know that I'd add the lemon zest since I prefer a creamy texture. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post.

Fast & Easy Veggie Soup: emmas_cuisine
http://emmas-cuisine.livejournal.com/4656.html
Fast and Easy Veggie Soup. My Brother gave me this recipe and said it is very good for when you are ill and want a homemade-tasting soup, but don't feel like cooking all day and don't have much in the pantry. The apple juice gives the broth added depth (and cuts down on the acidity of the tomatoes). Fast and Easy Veggie Soup (Plain Version). 3 cups apple juice. 3 cups V-8 juice or other tomato juice or crushed tomatoes (V-8 is the best because of the vitamins). 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables.

Strawberry Lemonade: emmas_cuisine
http://emmas-cuisine.livejournal.com/4124.html
Pretty basic, but I'm liking it right now! Strawberry Lemonade (1 gallon). 6 large lemons, squeezed. 7 strawberries, tops removed. 1-2 cups sweetner (more or less to taste - I like it tart). Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to a container. Puree the strawberries with some of the lemon juice and water. Add strawberry puree to the lemon juice and add 1 cup sweetner. Add water and then add additional sweetner to taste. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

Salmon Casserole: emmas_cuisine
http://emmas-cuisine.livejournal.com/7334.html
I found that it goes quite well with the Quinoa Pine Nut Pilaf. 1 large onion, chopped. 3 stalks celery, chopped. 2 cans salmon (6 to 7 oz. cans). 1 can cream of mushroom soup. 1 cup frozen corn. 1 tablespoon melted butter*. The butter is not strictly necessary, but adds a lovely flavor to the casserole! Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Suitcase Kitty and Phoenix Show - The Birman Cat
http://birman-cats.livejournal.com/3763.html
The dog may be wonderful prose, but only the cat is poetry. Suitcase Kitty and Phoenix Show. Sep 8th, 2009 at 10:10 PM. Freyr and I attended the Back to School cat show in Phoenix this past Labor Day weekend. It was a two day show and Freyr's first as an adult of eigh months of age. He was an absolute pill on Saturday. He hissed at four out of six judges and tried to bite one! We did learn a very valuable lesson - stay until all awards have been given! The dog may be wonderful prose, but only the cat is poetry. Sep 13th, 2010 at 12:31 AM. What a few months it has been! After adopting Ramses, the Japanese Bobtail kitten, Freyr has become an excellent older brother as well as doing rather well at the cat shows. This past weekend at the show in San Jacinto, California, Freyr placed in all six rings! In three rings he received 4th Best All Breed Premier and in one ring each he received the same ribbon, but for 6th, 8th, and 10th best.

The dog may be wonderful prose, but only the cat is poetry. Jul 5th, 2009 at 9:42 PM. Just before the cat show I ironed a blouse. I took the iron to the bathroom to cool so as to keep curious kitties from burning their delicate noses. Upon returning a mere 10 seconds later, Freyr had planted his well-groomed little body right in the middle of my freshly ironed blouse. Cats! Cat Fanciers Association Breed Profile.
