I find it hard to believe that almost 3 years–or maybe even more than that–has gone by since my last post. And yet, during that time, something kept me from deleting this blog completely. With such small readership I think my main reason for returning is that desire to archive pieces of our life in a way that close family and friends can read, if they feel like it.
