Day 8 went so well that we did not feel to convicted by only getting on the water at 06:35 on the morning of the 9th day of the Senqu Expedition (it was also quite a slog to get all the equipment down the hill and through the thick bush). It was a beautiful morning, but chilly none the less. We still had to wear thermals, gloves and full wet-suits.
