Sunday, July 19, 2009. Rockin St. George. This weekend was ROCKIN. Thanks to the hospitality of my brother and sister in law down in hotter than h*ll St. George, Utah. Luckily, we picked the hottest days of the year so far to travel down- the median temperature was 100 degrees with the highs around 115, so when I say that we were a hot mess, I'm not kidding. When D and I were in Vegas a while ago, we visited Madame Taussaud's Wax Museum, which was a major dissapointment. There weren't nearly enough famous "people." I kept wondering who the heck everyone was. Whatev. Just so you don't have to spend the $50 (rip off! Here are the highlights:. I don't know what that face is supposed to be. I heart Tim McGraw! I very politely offered to go buy a cake, because I didn't feel like making a cake. So, we ended up making a cake, but frosted it and this is what happened:. My two roommates are nurses. One works in the infant unit and the other in pediatric intensive care.
