N8 and Jai's Whanau. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Derek and Shae are officially certified scuba divers! Waiting in the hot tub area for their turn. Getting ready to go down. This is The Crater. For Winterim, Shae and Derek are getting scuba certified. They each have to spend 60 hours on studying and participating to get credit for it and write a report and do a project for the Winterfest. They got to pet an alligator and a turtle that were 15 feet under the water. Links to this post.

Nate and his friends have been out getting dirty and playing with fire as well as breaking baseball bats, going to baseball games, listening to live music, hanging out with cans of soup and playing with dead lizards. 'Old Rip'. Go look him up. This is one of the fires in Texas that was started, I mean put out, I mean watched by the handsome firefighters from Utah on Engine 1667. They spent nearly a month playing and sleeping in Texas. Don't play with fire.

Fairy Tales Do Come True. Monday, February 20, 2012. Gramma Jackie Part 3. Lily really likes her super soft "Love" blanket and pillows. Probably cause it was made with so much LOVE! We had a lot of fun putting Lily's room together. We were able to do most of it while she was sleeping so it was really cute to see her surprise! My niece Savanna made these awesome flowers out of pipe cleaners. I really like how creative she is. She worked so hard to get them just right. Thanks so much Sav! Ahh she loves her!

Lily and I love going to play group each week. We're all enjoying the nice fall weather. Lily has begun clapping and picking up on new signs. She signs: all done, more, eat, milk, and bath. Fairy Tales Do Come True. Monday, February 27, 2012. We've been super busy getting ready for our upcoming move to Tampa. It gets a little stressful so I decided to take a break and make some fun with Lily. We got pretty messy but it was well worth it! She was so excited to stir all by herself. She was a really good helper. I let her spoon some batter into one cupcake paper. I love the concentration. Then of course she had to try it. And the chocolate middle. She's a happy baker. Until it was too late.

We decorated the whole house and surprised him with "Minute to Win It" games and a night full of everything he loves! It was great watching him complete all his tasks! We were so excited to have her there and we really enjoyed every minute of it. Gramma brought all kinds of awesome things in those magic suitcases of hers.
