africa and other things: June 2008
http://lizjordan.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Africa and other things. A journal of my life in the Peace Corps - Burkina Faso June 2007 - August 2009. Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Nothing about me this time. I'm sad to report that a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana was killed this past Friday. She died in an automobile accident. I certainly never knew her but as PCVs we're all in this together and share in this tragedy together. Be safe everyone. Http:/ cathysaltwickmemory.blogspot.com/. Posted by liz jordan. Africa and other things. A journal of my life in the Peace Corps - Burkina Faso June 2007 - August 2009. Wednesday, May 7, 2008. It’s really difficult to take pictures here. Everyday I wish I had my camera with me, but that of course is unfeasible. Even if I had it, the more difficult part is that taking your camera out here is not like taking out a camera in America. You can imagine. 8220;Even snakes do this! 8221; Danny asserted to me. 8220;That’s impossible Danny,” I told him. 8220;Uh uh, I saw it!

Africa and other things. A journal of my life in the Peace Corps - Burkina Faso June 2007 - August 2009. Tuesday, March 25, 2008. I decided that climbing a mango tree would be a good thing to do. Africa and other things. A journal of my life in the Peace Corps - Burkina Faso June 2007 - August 2009. Saturday, January 3, 2009. Christmas in Bagré / New Year's in Toussiana. Happy (late) holidays everyone. Last holiday season I spent on the coast of Ghana but this year I did it up village style. Christmas was chez. And then after a stop over in Ouaga. We continued on south to Toussiana. To celebrate New Year's and see the family there. For Christmas I decided to get a sheep. Usually functionnaires.
