Work Hard, Play Hard". Wednesday, December 17, 2008. I went to Norton tonight to have dinner with my friend Chrissy. We had a great time catching up on everything. On the way back to her house I noticed this sign on a store at the end of her block. It just caught me as funny with this very strange combination. Work Hard, Play Hard". Sunday, December 28, 2008. I've been so busy with activities that I haven't kept up on everything this week. The Saturday before Christmas Mom and I picked up Grandma to go do some errands and shopping. After we got her hair done we took her to Bob Evans to eat. For our longer walks into the stores we borrowed a wheel chair for Grandma to use. We had a good night of shopping and by the end of battling all the crowds everyone was very tired and ready for bed. Monday, May 28, 2012. Thanks To Those Who Serve Our Country. This monument in Zwolle, Netherlands is in honor of my father's B-17 flight crew that was shot down during WWII. The pilot made the ultimate sacrifice by staying with the plane to avoid crashing into the town of Zwolle. Sunday, June 10, 2012. FUN with the GRANDCHILDREN in Illinois. This entrance to a 55 foot slide at the Wildlife Prairie Park was a place of pure enjoyment for the Plattner children. Most of us took a ride on the train.at the park. A get well card was made, signed and sent to Aunt Cori from all of them. They all enjoyed making handmade cards and we'll have to do that again!
