Friday, July 2, 2010. Looking at this from another angle, we can see that Surrealism IS a rebellion against authority. It is not a physical rebellion, but a mental rebellion. Surrealism is based on the mental battle against the forced and habitual thoughts constructed by the government or authority figures. Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Stop caring about your 'self'. People with low self-esteem. I could never deal with the fact that there was a single person who hated me, because I felt like why should they, you know? I haven't really been able to accept myself until recently, and I mean it really just involved thinking about everything that's around us. What if everything disappeared tomorrow? People with "lost selves". Like when you're asked to fill out a section "about you", could you really ever do it?
