Saturday, December 12, 2009. All Dressed Up with No Where To Go. Our first Santa Claus parade was OK. Great weather, but what a learning experience it is. First off, don't bother to be polite and drive and park. Just drive right up to the side of the road, find a place to park and get comfy. I learned today, that in the days following the Imagine Adoption bankruptcy, our agency, there was not enough food in the Transition Homes to feed the children. Thursday, December 17, 2009. I remember reading a story on another Mom's blog about a language misunderstanding regarding "Goldfish" which sounded like "Go iss. Getting out of the tub the other night and she says, " Katarina. Which she actually says now) itch." I'm thinking, pardon? This was after a few days of daycare started, so I'm quickly calculating how quickly she may have picked up these new words. But I notice she is pointing at her bum. So it dawns on me, Katarina.
