Halladay Hullabaloo: January 2012

Thursday, January 26, 2012. For Carter's Birthday this year, we decided on an Angry Birds theme. While this party was fairly inexpensive to put on, it was a lot of work (but a lot of fun too). These balls, I mean birds, were used to launch at the lovely pig-protecting structures that big bro Kayden built (and re-built) below. Here is a picture of Carter launching a yellow bird with our homemade sling shot (surgical tubing - the lady at the home health store didn't know what Angry Birds were and I think s...

Monday, April 30, 2012. What, you are 14? Next, is this classic pic of Kayden ready to go to the retro dance. Look out ladies - this kid is hot stuff! I think there is almost one dance a month - so for the next 10 years (because we have so many other little dudes who will partake) we will be kicking up our heels in anticipation of these fun events. It is a good thing that K got his dad's attitude when it comes to dancing! Thursday, April 26, 2012. I love General Conference! Kub Kar Ralley 2012. This year...

Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Football Season has arrived! With football season in full swing - we are keeping super busy. Both Kayden (#4) and Jaren (#72) are playing this year. The team is grades 7-9, so Kayden is on the Senior end of things, and Jaren is a newbie! This picture was maybe not the best because that catch that the brown team member caught was meant for Kayden. They have a brand new quarter back, so they are working out some things. Oh well, it is what it is! Wednesday, September 12, 2012.

Halladay Hullabaloo: Happy Birthday Kayden!

Saturday, December 8, 2012. Happy Birthday to my oldest son. I can hardly believe that he is FIFTEEN. Years old. I remember when he was little. wasn't that just yesterday? He has grown and changed so much in the last year. He is taller than everyone in the family, and as you can see, has grown into a handsome young man. He is a good big brother (although sometimes, he loses his patience with a certain brother). He had a pretty good year in grade 8 and has now moved on to high school! Ah, what a life!

Thursday, August 30, 2012. White Rock - Part 1. My favorite day of the trip! We journeyed about 45 minutes to White Rock - aka tourist town. We started off at a nice little beach (I can't remember the name), where the kids played in the sand and water, found shells and buried one another. It was so great to see her (before she jetted off to France - lucky gal). She brought her sweet little daughter with her and although we couldn't visit long - I was so glad that she took the time to come and see us!

Thursday, May 10, 2012. It's great to be EIGHT! This year (and last year too) Tyler chose to have his party at our local games place. The kids had a great time, playing games, winning tickets, and choosing prizes at the end. As you can see here, Tyler and some friends are making a toast to the birthday boy! Lego and so many other fun gifts! Here Tyler and Carter are battling it out at the air hockey table. Those two went hard at it, and were pretty darn good too! Thursday, May 3, 2012. Ah, what a life!

Thursday, December 8, 2011. Has it really been fourteen years? Time has sure flown by. It almost seems like yesterday when I was in college and busily studying for exams AND also anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new baby. Kayden arrived 8 days after his due date - the day that I was scheduled to be induced! We lived in a small, one bedroom place and poor Kayden had to share a room with us! He sure became a great sleeper though - there was no tip toeing around, that is for sure! Ah, what a life!

Sunday, October 21, 2012. Infamous fall family pictures. Well, there are some members of our family who do NOT look forward to this time of year - okay, more specifically, the fact that their mother makes them take pictures! Yes, formal, matching outfit, pose together type photos. There was a lot of protesting at the beginning, but amazingly enough, it didn't take that long! And this year, we even included mom and dad in some of them! Friday, October 12, 2012. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Football has kin...
