Just a mom blog. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Updates, Florida, and Mexico. I am exhausted of the paperwork. Red tape. Lack of resources. Lack of time. Lack of help. We returned Saturday from our trip to Florida. The weather was perfect. There were good days with Kiahna and then there were hard days. Typical. Deanna came along and helped with her and helped the rest of us with other things when K wouldn't allow Deanna to help her and I had to give K all my attention. She was DENIED services for wrap around.

Just a mom blog. Friday, February 27, 2015. I got up from under the bus. I am just waiting til 8 am so I can call the doctor. again. Like in the past, it appears that the meds are working against us. It appears that we don't react normally to the meds. I have been calling every place I can find or anyone else tells me about looking for someone who understands FASD enough to help us. I have some leads, but now to figure out which to try. Waiting for some calls back. I think it may be. Is this the meds?

Just a mom blog. Friday, August 7, 2015. God has perfect timing. Only, we can mess up the timing by running ahead, or refusing to move forward. I've questioned God's timing over the years. It was 9 years and 9 months after Jim walked out on our lives that I saw the first glimpse that he could possibly be walking back in. Nothing about that was my time table. I have listend to so many of Jim's stories, events that he had to walk through to bring him to the breaking point. So much. Unreal. So much grace.

Then this afternoon I was treated to a matinee showing of "Barbie and A Mermaid Tail". In my daughters room. I love how in their own little ways, they make me feel special.
