Monday, May 27, 2013. The girls love the water. Our first garden. The girls like to help. We planted onions, carrots, cucumbers, corn, green peppers, red peppers, jalapeno peppers, watermelon, cantaloupe, and green beans. Caralee at 18 months. Caralee turned 18 months on a Saturday but the day before she pulled our dinner table bench down on herself and fractured her foot. You can see her boot in the picture above. She does really well with it. She'll wear the boot for at least 4 weeks. 4 and 1 years old.

Monday, April 13, 2015. Mommy's Birthday and other Fun spring activities. Emma's "new" desk for her room. She loves to color, cut and create. If only it would stay at the desk and not on her bed/floor. A cute sister from our ward made me this apron for my birthday. So sweet! A couple of our sister missionaries. The sister on the right served half her mission in our ward and is now home. Vivian and a couple preschool friends on our field trip to the California Animal Living Museum. First taste of cheerios.

Why we take pictures. August 17, 2014. This is my heading. Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon. Declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew Saturday in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson where black teenager Michael Brown was shot to death by a white police officer a week ago. A slice in time. Nixon said at a press conference. That though many protesters were making themselves heard peacefully, the state would not allow a handful of looters to endanger the community. The curfew will run from midnight to 5 am.
