Twitterbot: twitter hash-tags generated meshes. Watching the #CometLanding tweet feed. Looking out for keywords to respond dynamically. Using the Twitter Filtered Stream API we track twitter hash-tags and generate a runtime mesh to display the strength of the tweets (shown by the length and lifetime of the line). This months prototype concept was to create rolling landscapes in a hexagonal environment to see if we could develop a future concept. After looking online for already existing resources I stumbled across the Honey Hex Framework for Unity3d and decided to give that a try. The framework encompassed everything we needed to get the ball rolling and allowed us to quickly iterate upon our concept without needing to reinvent the wheel for an already solved problem.
