My walk home from work. When I arrived in July, the sights, sounds and smells on my 15 minute walk home from work were strange and unfamiliar. Now, they have become a part of my daily life, and I recently captured some scenes from this walk to share with you. Bachata House – if you look closely enough you can see some students practicing percussion on the front porch. Get your fridge, fan or washing machine repaired here. Second-hand shopping, anyone? Playing dominoes is a favorite Dominican pass-time.
