I see a lot of recipes on blogs and the networks site that I try, but they make such a big amount of food that we end up throwing a lot away. So I will try on this blog to make food that will feed two with maybe lunch leftovers. Some of these will not have specific recipes, but will just include the ingredients and suggestions. Because that's the way I usually cook unless I am baking!

We did not go to the regular garden walk, but instead visitied the gardens and chapel they have there for weddings and such. Enjoy the pictures and visit Susan at Southern Daydreamer. I'm just a Southern Girl. What We Ate on Vacation. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Hot Springs and Outdoor Wednesday. This past weekend we went to Hot Springs, AR to go to the Races. It was Rebel Stakes weekend and that is my favorite weekend to go. Secret Circle took home the purse and I hit the late Daily Double with her! I think this is oleander. You can see the buds if you look really close. This is where one of the springs is open and you can stick your hand in. It comes out of the ground at 143 degrees!

Just A Soopr Day

Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Grandma's flower pot now holds my petunias (or so I thought). The other day I posted these two photographs, intending to create a simple blog about this flower pot. To make a long story short, I was studying the photographs after I posted this when it occurred to me that this is NOT the same pot. All of these years I have believed the pot that holds the petunias was the same pot that sat on the flower bed ledge of my late grandparents' house at 1028 Belford Street in Caldwell, Ohio.
