He will be 5 months old next week but he weighs only 3.75 kg (8.25lbs)! I basically told the orphanage that this infant will die soon and asked if they would allow a family to foster him? Our three months in the US were packed with reunions with old friends, precious family time, reconnecting with many who make it possible for us to be here, and fun! While the poor, mountainous area is not heavily populated, the few cities affected were essentially destroyed. The latest death toll is 2220, and many people are still missing. The good news: there are skilled bicycle technicians on call at almost any streetcorner, and they work for cheap. Seeking to be His hands in China. May 20, 2012. A friend of mine and I recently ran the Dalian Half-Marathon. I don’t know how many runners there were, but it was certainly in the thousands. There were a surprising number of people who turned out just to cheer everyone. As foreigners, my friend and I had lots of adoring fans. Lesson learned: giving “high fives” to the crowd generates loud cheers, but can start to block the course as people move forward to reach the runners…. Laquo; Countryside Wedding.

A doctor friend and I took the overnight train (actually, 2 overnights – 40 hours total! And arrived in time for a lecture for community doctors.
