Perennials on the hand (check out these synonyms: constant, incessant, continual, imperishable, undying, eternal, immortal) don't die - it may look dead but it's not. Asparagus is a perennial, every spring I get a bountiful harvest! Ok, I know you can pick this apart and say that perennial plants can be killed (yep I've done it) but not so with God's eternal life! Saturday, September 24, 2011. I wanna be a Michigander. And so, I'm making some pasties. No no no, not those little things that cover your nipples when you're a stripper. A meat pie usually found in the U.P. but which can also be sometimes found in Northern Michigan. I had to go buy a rutabaga. Its way more rutabaga than I need, but I think if these turn out good, that rutabaga will get used up! I had two potatoes left from the garden, nice big ones, and part of an onion. The first pic is just toasted english muffins with butter and strawberry jam, and the bottom two are of the "pizza muffins" I made today. It was my sister's recipe (not a hard one to follow) you just prep the english muffins with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings, and then bake in the oven at 350 for about 7 minutes. Instant yum! Thursday, February 23, 2012. 9 Cups Chex (any kind). 1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter. 1/4 Cup butter or marg. 1 1/2 Cup powdered sugar. 1 Microwave chocolate chips, PB, and butter uncovered on high for 1 minute. Then stir. Microwave for 30 more seconds or until smooth. 2 Stir in vanilla. 3 Pour mixture over cereal in a large bowl, stir until evenly coated. 4 Pour into a 2-gallon resealable bag.
