Finally, a chili I can make again! July 17th, 2012 by robin. I’ve attempted to make chili numerous times. I’ve made it too salty, too sweet, and then too salty to cover up the mysterious sweetness. I finally tried a recipe that both my partner and I can enjoy. This recipe is flavorful, savory, rich, and hearty– a winner for those with an aversion to sweetness (for dinner foods). Finally, a chili recipe I can actually keep! 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan. 1 large onion, quartered.
