I was a bit concerned with how the truck would handle the elevation, but it ran cooler than it does climbing up the rim out of Payson. It wasn't just one pass, but two that needed to be topped. There were a lot in the rocks by the river, and more living in most every pile of old lumber. The Duncan house is perhaps the most photographed building in Animas Springs.
