Singing in the rain
http://whinsey.blogspot.com/2009/02/this-blog-has-been-inactive-for-more.html
February 26, 2009. This blog has been inactive for more than a year now. And I never thought that I would be inspired to start it up again. However, the atrocity of the crimes committed against women should be enough for most Indians with even a slightly modern point of view to get up and voice their opinion through any channel or medium available to them. First, there was Mangalore. Then Bangalore. And then Bangalore again. And again. And again. Where will this end? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Singing in the rain: Ch-ch-ch-changes
http://whinsey.blogspot.com/2007/12/ch-ch-ch-changes.html
December 02, 2007. Phew, six months or thereabouts has gone by since my last post. Here I am, sitting in a new country which I now call "home". Here I am, in cold blustery weather that makes me finally understand what James Herriot was talking about. Here I am, writing in my blog after so long when really I know that if I don't finish my management essay I will be well and truly rogered. They say change is a good thing. I answer back with "who says so? And how much change? 4:39 PM, December 02, 2007.

Singing in the rain: May 2007
http://whinsey.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
May 18, 2007. Wrote this a couple of months ago. Will need to write the sequels shortly. This morning as I was driving to work I had the sudden inexplicable urge to write something. Its funny how it always happens at the most inopportunate times. By the time I've reached somewhere where I can lay my hands on a pen and a paper, I've forgotten all the wonderful perfectly bloggable thoughts that are running through my head at the time. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Of this. And all i...

Bananarana: December 2005
http://hugabug.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 17, 2005. Its strange how in a time of crisis, one tends to zero in and fixate on seemingly irrelevant and prosaic things. Like running through a forest, being chased by something you don't even have the courage to look back at, and worrying about stepping on a thorn. Posted by Bananarana @ 11:17 AM. Wednesday, December 07, 2005. Blog Clog and Corporate Conundrums. Has Anyone Seen My Gruntles? But that not the point. I’d give my right arm for a road trip right now. Rat, the major influ...

Bananarana: April 2006
http://hugabug.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 21, 2006. I don’t mean to go off on a philosophical tangent, but I guess it’s something I need to get my mind around as well. Save enough money to fund myself through a specialized programme in palliative care and get back to it in time. So, I’m a bit confused. It’s not an ‘evolved’ field? Don’t people die all the time? What constitutes evolution when it comes to death? And why is death something to tip toe around? And watch the breath of God. To be your breath;. To be your nature. The best...

Bananarana: June 2006
http://hugabug.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 23, 2006. Woke up in a truly foul mood this morning. A very common occurrence off late. And quite upsetting. I’ve always been proud of the fact that one of the few things I CAN do on a daily basis is wake up happy. Well, it’s been a harsh fact for me to face I’m a grouch. Came across an article on a new vaccine, Gardasil, being developed for the prevention of Cervical Cancer, entitled Is it a vaccine or a virginity test? If detected early, Cervical cancer can be arrested and a full recovery ...

Rael Life: The More That Things Change...
http://bald-spot.blogspot.com/2007/10/more-that-things-change.html
Keep your fingers out of my eye. Wednesday, October 10, 2007. The More That Things Change. All the same we take our chances. Laughed at by time, tricked by circumstances. Plus ca change.plus c'est la meme chose. The more that things change.the more they stay the same' - from "Circumstances" by Rush. The more they stay the same. I could goes on. And in the midst of this change, there is me. The only constant amid the constant change. I have no idea how this is going to end. Perhaps I'll always feel th...

Singing in the rain: July 2006
http://whinsey.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
July 19, 2006. Blogspot is apparently now banned in India! I'm guessing its temporary but still. As always, when confronted with something that I cannot do, I immediately want to do it all the more. Oh well, I think I've found my reason to start blogging all over again. Links to this post. July 06, 2006. And so I missed the month of June. It's been a crazy eventful month though. To sum it up, over the past one month I have caused two boys to fight over me. Travelled in a second-class compartment. You're ...

Bananarana: November 2005
http://hugabug.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2005. It took a stranger to sense them. to make me see. The grieving process is far from over. It has barely begun. We had left so many things untouched, just the way you had left them. They still hold your essence and I don’t want to change that. But maybe it would have upset you to see them left that way. To see us clutching at straws like this. Maybe it’s finally time for us to let you move on. Posted by Bananarana @ 6:15 PM. Anyway. without much further ado. Sneak out of the off...
