Monday, November 30. Every year, all of ( my side. The Shaeffer's get together for a massive Thanksgiving celebration. Typically, there are anywhere from 25-32 people, 4-5 tables, and at least 9 grandchildren with their own children - adding another 9 GREAT-grandchildren who all join together for our annual Thanksgiving feast . . . and, by 'feast' - I mean a colossal amount of food! They were heavier than Peter! After our delicious lunch, the kids get to enjoy a hayride. Praise God for His Great Love!

Thursday, August 27. Tuesday, August 25. We got the chance to go to a Fund Raiser for our local Firemen and Policemen. Well, the 'big event' was going to be a helicopter that would land in the middle of a field right next to the fair at the station. Peter and I got FRONT row 'seats' to watch it land . . it was amazing! Peter was in shock and couldn't believe that he saw this massive thing land right in front of his eyes! Wednesday, February 17. Sunday, February 7. It was a lot of effort. It took a long time JUST to get ready for. But, totally worth the freezing temperatures. The boys had a blast and a half today! Throwing some good snowballs at Daddy. Payback . . . Making the largest Snow Angel known to man! Playing 'Snowball' (instead of baseball! Peter got some really good hits in. I was quite impressed! Afterwards, I made everyone some nice, hot chocolate and we all 'melted' until dinner was ready. Saturday, February 6.

Wednesday, December 30. Peter and James at Grandma and Grandpa Weldon's House - Christmas Eve. Making a gingerbread house! Christmas Day - At Grandma and Grandpa Shaeffer's House. Aunt Caralee had to step in and help Mr. James - or should I say Mr. Slowpoke! Caralee - opening her gifts. We took pictures of each other's gifts since we made our own bows this year! I knitted her a blanket this year . . . David - and the smallest playing cards in the world! Tim - opening his presents! Thursday, December 24.

Friday, March 19. For the last couple of weeks, Tim and I have been gradually teaching James how to drink out of a 'big boy' cup - no lid, no straw. We are also going to be potty-training him soon . . . and at that thought, in the words of James . . "I don't WANT to go potty in the big boy potty! So, this should be interesting.
