Hockey from The Wasteland: February 2008
http://hockeyfromthewasteland.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Hockey from The Wasteland. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. NHL Trade Deadline Moves. The Caps also acquired Matt Cooke from the Canucks for Matt Pettinger. Cooke should add a little more grit to the team. Pettinger has had a disappointing season this year and never seemed able to get it going no matter where he played in the lineup. Hockey from The Wasteland. Saturday, February 23, 2008. And beat Atlanta 5-3 in their last game at home. Alex Ovechkin. Has been held off the score sheet. For three games in a ...

Hockey from The Wasteland: Game 2 Recap/Series Outlook
http://hockeyfromthewasteland.blogspot.com/2008/04/game-2-recapseries-outlook.html
Hockey from The Wasteland. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Game 2 Recap/Series Outlook. The Flyers simply outplayed the Caps as a team on Sunday. The Caps did not falter from a lack of effort but had way too many individual efforts and not nearly enough team efforts. It can be a fine line but they were mostly out of sync on Sunday. Hockey from The Wasteland: January 2008
http://hockeyfromthewasteland.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Hockey from The Wasteland. Friday, January 25, 2008. It's hard to believe how far this team has come since Thanksgiving. The playoffs seemed like an impossibility and yet now at the All Star break the Caps sit one point out of first place in the Southeast Division with two games in hand on Carolina. They are also only three points out of the eighth spot in the conference standings. I must give the team and Bruce Boudreau. A lot of credit. It's a shame that only Alex Ovechkin. Getting beat by Sundin.

Just Give Me The Stats! Author Archive for Barry Mills. FOR ALL YOU KOBE FANS! This is for all the wonderful Lakers fans that told me I was wrong about the Celtics being better than the Lakers. I must admit that it’s great to see Kobe shooting under 40% and throwing his teammates under the bus! That’s the selfish Kobe I’ve come to know and love. I said the Celtics would win in 6, but it looks like I might be wrong… the Celtics should win in 5! I’m Now on Blogger.com! And his comments are very telling!

Hockey from The Wasteland. Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Well, it has been some time since I posted something. I need to make some time to reflect on the season, collect my thoughts and put something meaningful together to post. Nevertheless, I came across this story today from TSN. That some of you might find of interest. It waxes poetic about the off-season plans for the Caps. The link follows below. Http:/ www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/? Hockey from The Wasteland. Hockey from The Wasteland: December 2007
http://hockeyfromthewasteland.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Hockey from The Wasteland. Friday, December 21, 2007. One Step Forward, Two Steps Back. It's becoming abundantly clear that this team will need Olie to make some big saves or steal a game if they have any chance to get back into the playoff race let alone out of the cellar of the Eastern Conference. Hockey from The Wasteland. Thursday, December 20, 2007. A win tonight for the Caps will be a big step forward for this team after the terrible start. Let's hope for the best. Hockey from The Wasteland: April 2009
http://hockeyfromthewasteland.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Hockey from The Wasteland. Monday, April 20, 2009. Well, my assumptions and posts have been wrong so far. I still can not believe that Bruce Boudreau. In Game 2. Even though I was wrong, I strongly believe it was a critical error in judgement by Boudreau. The decision reeks of desperation and sends the wrong message to the team. I will be the first to admit that the goal tending was not in any way the reason why the Caps lost game 2 (unless of course we are talking about Henrik Lundquist. Jose Theodore w...
