Skip to primary content. It’s a zig zag kind of day. June 6, 2014. Juneathon Day 5: The one with all the climbing. Otherwise known as a trip to the Cataract Gorge. Track, which is a steep climb of pain. Trail with a series ofwell zig-zags…and some pretty amazing views. Throw in a walk across the suspension bridge, more climbing on the way back, and a jog to / from home, and before you know it you’ve clocked up a sneaky 7.5k without even realising. From couch to 5k and then…. July 22, 2015. I’m On It! I didn’t manage to make it out for my 2nd run of C25K yesterday, but don’t worry, I’m on it. I went out this morning instead. The run itself was slow and steady. I used the same 90 second intervals as before and it felt pretty good, so I’ll probably step up to Week 3 next time. JUST HAVING A YARN. Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Yarn Along and A Birthday. Sock and mittens on the go at the moment. The socks were a Christmas knit for a friends daughter but Tino saw them and declared them his, think they would have been to big for her anyhow! I whipped up these mittens for Tino to wear to school in the mornings from some pure wool that a guy gave me at a medieval festival this summer (I bough two other skeins and he threw this one in for free). Tino thinks they smell like sheep!
