I'm not really writing much. I'm just sharing the fact that I'm completely amazed how one pillow can have all the colors of my living room in it! To make myself feel better, I remind myself that most of America (if not humanity) also struggles with waiting. Here are a few good things about being an adult:. Adults understand that waiting is part of life. Can't be helped. No stomping feet or hideous whining like children often resort to. Instead, serious resolve. Calm perseverance. Stoic acceptance. I'll make you rich. Oh, only a few big things.

Tuesday, September 2, 2014. A Teen In the House. This morning at 7:05 I became the parent of a teenager. He informed me last night that he needs to go check out some books on how to be rude. He doesn't really need to do that. He's got it down pretty well when he wants to, just like any normal kid. Don't know how he's growing up so fast. Seems like just yesterday we started this tradition of taking photos in one of his dad's button-downs, and now he's almost all grown into it. Labor Day Weekend Activities.
