JULY: The biggest thing that happened this month was our little Leah was born. Leah Katherine arrived on July 30th, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz 21 in. long. Allie loves her little sister. Leah and aunt rebecca. She loves to snuggle. Grammie and the girls. Uncle david came to visit. AUGUST: Loving on Leah and Allie started 1st grade. Allie loves to read to leah.

Friday, July 2, 2010. Allie has enjoyed taking gymnastics at Flips this year. She enjoyed her class and I enjoyed her being able to run around at someone else's place. Each student received a medal at the awards ceremony. Here she is waiting for her name to be called. I was too late to get a picture of her receiving her medal. Her 2nd birthday cake in less than a week! Thank goodness HEB makes small ones because we still have left over Barbie cake! Does she look older? Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. We actually made this marshmallow snowman a couple of days ago when it was 82 degrees outside even though it was the month of January. Allie wanted to make another one today since it was 26 degrees out and icy. She had already eaten the snowman before I could take a picture. Saturday, August 29, 2009. First Day of Kindergarten. Wow, I can't believe the first day of school is over! It was a great learning experience for us both. We have begun a new season in our lives (Justin admitted that actually none of this affected him since he is at work all day) and are thankful that God is leading us through it. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Allie has started taking piano lessons at Baylor. She goes every Monday from 4-5 pm She is enjoying it and she loves playing the piano (just not practicing). She had her first recital on Oct. 25 and the students were able to wear their halloween costumes. She played 2 pieces and made no mistakes! We are so proud of her! Friday, July 31, 2009. A Piece of Paradise! The views and temps make you want to be outside all the time.
