https://larsandjenniferinuganda.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/soroti-day-two
Lars and Jennifer in Uganda. A live journal of our travels. Mbale Day One →. I woke up this morning after tossing and turning most of the night with aches. Thankfully the fever broke and I wasn’t feeling too terrible, or at least as terrible as I feared I would last night. Considering that the minor fever broke and I wasn’t feeling worse, Jennifer and I were very relieved. We diagnosed it as only bacteria and nothing more significant or concerning. Thankfully the Post Bus departs Soroti mid-morning and Jennifer and I were able to get a solid breakfast prior to departure. We grabbed a boda boda back to town and enjoyed a good meal at an Indian restaurant that our guidebook recommended. I’m hoping that I can turn the corner after a good night’s sleep fighting my bug. Lars and Jennifer in Uganda. A live journal of our travels. Lira Day One & Two. Soroti Day Two →. Jennifer and I woke up at 5am this morning in order to catch the 6am Post Bus to Soroti. The road to Soroti was developed and a pleasure travel on, having been paved within the past two years. We pulled into Soroti by 8am and had the whole day to figure out the lay of the land and determine how to reach a village nearby, Mukura. Passing a lake on the way. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
